Day 443:<\/p>\n
I found a spot in my caverns where it’s almost silent. No zombies growling, \u00a0no skeletons rattling, no gelatinous cubes splatting.<\/p>\n
I set up a bed there and sometimes when I don’t make it all the way back to my normal home I sleep there.<\/p>\n
The first few times it took a little getting used to. Even when you’re exhausted, even when you’ve done everything to bar the doors and protect yourself, it can be hard to sleep in a new place. I think that’s just part of being human, because it happened to me even way back as a kid when we’d stay in a hotel or something. But living surrounded by monstrous creatures certainly makes it clear why we evolved this way.<\/p>\n
Now I’ve adjusted and gained confidence and I sleep better here than anywhere I’ve ever slept in my life.<\/p>\n
And if it wasn’t like 10 floors underground I’d sleep here all the time.<\/p>\n
