I’m out of glass, which is a major problem.<\/p>\n
Glass is the safest material for me to use around lava flows. It’s the only one through which I can still see the lava, which means I don’t dig up into something I’ve already found.<\/p>\n
It’s also a great way to get light from the surface down into the lower caves. Sunlight, while a slow way to kill germs, is pretty good at it, so getting actual sunlight into places that could be filled with weird bacteria and viruses, is something I generally consider a good idea.<\/p>\n
I’ve dug up most of the sand in my immediate area and in the immediate areas of most of the places where I’m mining, so I’m going to have to go north a bit and see what I find. Hopefully, the wet marshy areas I’ve spotted but not explored will have some good sand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
