Day 625:
North of my northernmost bridge is a lot of wet marshy land. Bad mining land. Not a place I want to dig. And not a single sign of sand deposits.
I did see some clay deposits though, so I might go back for those. The bricks I made with the clay I found previously make for good stairs and walkways, and it’s nice to have a break from plain grey stone all the time.
I walked north until midday, then walked back a slightly different route, and I discovered a lot of pigs. That makes me feel a bit more confident, to be honest, because while I have a lot of pigs I worry about genetic diversification and knowing there are more wild pigs I can cross-breed with is a relief.
